Greetings to all member pack. I'm here to tell you that Arthus<WolfQuest Username< need people's help. I saw his post at WolfQuest Community:"Instinct" a new 3d animal game me and some buddies are working on uses the same engine used to make wolfquest but, will have better shadowing, detailed terrian, immersive game features, etc... Unlike wolfquest we plan to have more choices in animals(predators) We plan to start off with wolf and bear both starting there story in a large valley(not yet named), it will have a cold climate with a very alpine ,deep forest feel. Our game will have fiction areas, so our terrain will be beutiful and unique. Our singlplayer will have an in-depth story the brings the player into the game. The multiplayer will fit more players in the server if we can raise enough money for a bigger server. We plan to fit ATLEAST 20-40 players into a single server. Like wolf quest they will have hosts. We plan to include Pack pvp and hopefully territory control. In the open world of multiplayer, wolves vs. wolves is allowed bears vs. bears and of course bears vs. wolfs. There will be obtainable dens, possibly a hunger bar(still being discussed). There will be a day & night system, a wheather system, rain and snow will effect senses/smell. We will hopefully be able to have the wheather effect the animals fur. Bringing up the subject of animal models, we hope to obtain enough money to get more realistic bear, wolf, deer, rabbit, coyote, etc... models! Speaking of deer, our hunting and combat system is currently being worked on, we are making very cool combat animations and special mechanics to the game. We are working on finishers, special attacks, amushes/stealth attacks, friendly gestures, emotes,etc... We want the multiplayer to have mating in wich to animals of the same species can mate(Will not be able to see mating..haha) We will have SOME chat restrictions like swearing and innapropraite language, but you can say "boy","girl", "he" ,"she"...hahapretty much anything appropriate.
Survival, conquering territory, caring for your pack, is the point of the game. RP in multiplayer will be much more fun will a large amount of emotes and commands. Lastly, we plan to have patches/updates that will add more zones and playable animals, right now we are thinking about mountain lions a playable animal. Now, I know this post was quite listy and sloppy (sorry) I am tired but wanted to inform the public. I might be missing a few features lol. Currently, we have 2 artists, a terrain creator, a scripter, and we are looking for a 3d modelers. So anyone? Who knows how to create a wolf in 3D software (Blender/Maya) or drawing, you can join us! I wish i want to create a game like that but I don't know how! :3 Cause I don't know how to create 3D animal. I know It uses a software like Blender and Maya. Maybe I need more people to help me. Lol anyway, Can't wait to see the game!
